‘Purchased’ for Rs 1 lakh, toddler left on highway by bizman, wife for ‘bringing bad luck’
A Guna couple abandoned their toddler on a highway, believing she brought bad luck. Investigations revealed the child was allegedly purchased for Rs 1 lakh through an illegal network, expanding the case into a suspected child trafficking racket. The girl was found alone and is now in the care of the Child Welfare Committee.
