AP SSC Result 2026: BSEAP opens recounting facility, students to apply through schools online AP SSC Result 2026: The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh has activated the recounting and re-verification process for SSC Public Examinations, March 2026, following the declaration of AP SSC result 2026. Candidates seeking review of their answer scripts can now apply through their respective schools within the notified timeline.The AP SSC result 2026 was declared on April 30, 2026 at 11 am. The overall pass percentage stands at 85.25 per cent, showing an increase from last year’s 81.14 per cent. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 87.90 per cent, while boys secured 82.68 per cent.Application process to be completed through school loginsThe recounting and re-verification facility has been made available in school logins from May 01, 2026 to May 07, 2026. Students are required to approach their respective schools to submit applications, as individual access has not been enabled for direct submission.School authorities will process applications on behalf of candidates through the designated online system. A user manual has been provided within the application interface to assist in completing the procedure.Fee structure and payment mode specifiedThe prescribed fee for recounting has been set at Rs 500 per subject, while re-verification will cost Rs 1,000 per subject. Payments are to be made exclusively through the online payment gateway available on the official BSEAP website.Accepted payment methods include debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI. The board has clarified that payments made through CFMS Citizen Challan will not be accepted under any circumstances.Access to answer scripts expanded this yearThe board has continued the practice of providing answer scripts to candidates who apply for re-verification through school logins. In addition to this, scanned copies of answer scripts will also be made available through WhatsApp Governance using the Mana Mitra service.This additional facility allows candidates to download their answer scripts directly through the registered WhatsApp number, expanding access beyond the school login system.Examination and result background detailsThe AP SSC examinations for 2026 were conducted from March 16 to April 1, 2026 across the state. The result was announced through a press conference by Education Minister Nara Lokesh, along with details on pass percentage, district performance and topper-related information.Students have been able to access their marks memo through official websites including bse.ap.gov.in and results.bse.ap.gov.in, as well as DigiLocker, WhatsApp services and mobile applications.Previous year performance trendsIn the previous academic year, 6,14,459 students appeared for the examination, with 4,98,585 passing and an overall pass percentage of 81.14 per cent. The pass percentage stood at 89.64 per cent in 2024, 72.26 per cent in 2023 and 64.02 per cent in 2022.School heads have been instructed to inform all eligible candidates about the recounting and re-verification schedule and ensure timely submission of applications within the specified deadline.
