OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has apologized to the community of Tumbler Ridge, Canada, for failing to alert law enforcement about an alleged shooter’s online activity. The company had banned the user’s account in June for policy violations but did not report it before the tragic shooting that killed eight people, including six children.
