Hulk Hogan, the legendary professional wrestler who became a prominent figure in 1980s wrestling and later ventured into acting, has passed away at age 71 at his Florida home, according to reports from NBC News and TMZ on Thursday.The wrestling icon, standing at 6’7″ (two meters), was instantly recognisable for his signature handlebar mustache and bandana throughout his career.NBC News confirmed the news through Hogan’s manager Chris Volo, while TMZ cited unnamed sources in their report of his death.WWE confirmed the development with a social media post: “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.
