Pakistan captain Mohammed Rizwan expressed confidence in his part-time bowlers following their five-wicket loss to West Indies in the second ODI at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago on August 11. The series is now leveled at 1-1 after West Indies successfully chased down an adjusted target of 181 in the rain-affected match.Roston Chase and Justin Greaves secured the victory for West Indies with an unbeaten 77-run partnership. The duo particularly targeted Pakistan’s part-time bowlers Saim Ayub and Salman Agha, who each conceded 33 runs during their spells.“You could say our fifth bowler gave away too many runs today, but in recent years, Salman Agha and Saim Ayub have both bowled well for us. Saim did not have the best day today, but he performed well in the T20Is. That is just part of the game,” Rizwan said after the match.Regarding team selection for the decisive third match, Rizwan remained noncommittal. “Honestly, the weather forecast has been completely different from expectations, and it is hard to read. We are keeping our options open and will finalise the XI after assessing the conditions,” he stated.
