In the World Championship of Legends 2025, India Champions put up a strong total of 203 for 4 against Australia Champions after being asked to bat first. The innings was built around unbeaten knocks from Shikhar Dhawan and Yusuf Pathan. Dhawan stayed till the end with 91 runs off 60 balls. He hit 12 fours and a six. His calm approach gave India a steady platform. At the other end, Yusuf Pathan played a quick innings, scoring 52 not out from 23 balls. He hit four sixes and three fours, helping India cross the 200-run mark. Robin Uthappa gave the team a good start with 37 runs from 21 deliveries. However, the middle order could not capitalise. Ambati Rayudu got out for a duck, Yuvraj Singh made 3 from 4 balls, and Suresh Raina managed 11 from 11 deliveries. For Australia, Daniel Christian took two wickets. Brett Lee and Darcy Short took one each. But the bowlers could not stop the flow of runs in the second half of the innings. The unbeaten partnership between Dhawan and Pathan proved important.
