They were seen showering flower petals at PM Modi, a former chief minister of Gujarat.Colonel Qureshi’s sister Shayna Sunsara told news agency ANI, “We felt good meeting PM Modi. He has done a lot for women’s empowerment. Sofiya is my twin. When your sister does something for the country, it inspires not only me but others as well. She is no longer just my sister but the country’s sister as well.”The army officer was the face of the government’s daily briefings, along with foreign secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Air Force, on India’s “Operation Sindoor“. On May 7, Indian armed forces conducted Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation to the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22. This triggered a military confrontation with Pakistan.
