In the backdrop, at the same time, confetti-like debris rained down as dust slowly engulfed the studio.Soon after the bombing, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) resumed the live coverage.“The Zionist regime the enemy of the Iranian nation minutes ago conducted a military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran news network”, part of IRIB, a senior official at the broadcasting service Hassan Abedini told news agency AFP.“The regime (Israel) was unaware of the fact that the voice of the Islamic revolution and the great Iran will not be silenced with a military operation,” the official added.Iran launched a fresh wave of missile strikes on Israel early Monday, setting off air raid sirens across the country as emergency services reported at least five fatalities and dozens injured. The attacks mark the fourth straight day of escalating hostilities between the longtime regional rivals, with no signs of de-escalation.
