‘Visited 5 countries in 5 months’: 17 days after meeting ‘Danish’, Youtuber Malhotra travelled to Pakistan | Chandigarh News

HISAR: Jyoti Malhotra, the travel blogger recently arrested on charges of espionage for Pakistan, visited four countries between Jan and May this year, including Pakistan. Notably, she travelled to Pakistan just 17 days after meeting a person identified as Danish.Records from Malhotra’s Facebook page, Travel with Joe, detail an extensive travel history. According to the timeline, she visited Dubai, Kathmandu, and Kashmir in Jan, Kerala in Feb, Pakistan in March, and Indonesia in May for a two-week trip.Malhotra began documenting her travel activities on social media in Feb 2023. That month alone, she visited Kashmir twice, followed by a trip to Pangong Lake in Leh in June. Her travels continued with a visit to Nepal in Dec 2024, and multiple trips to Bangladesh in Feb and March 2024. She again visited Pangong Lake, followed by a visit to the Pakistan high commission on March 30, 2024. Her first documented trip to Pakistan began on April 17, 2024. In the months that followed, she also visited China (June 2024), and made multiple trips to Kashmir, Bangladesh, Bhutan (Aug 2024), Bhutan and Kathmandu (Sep 2024), and finally Kailash Mansarovar in China (Nov 2024).
