UPITS 2025 roadshow: UP pushes global trade goals; Delhi event draws diplomats, exporters | India News

NEW DELHI: The Government of Uttar Pradesh held a high-profile roadshow in New Delhi on Friday to promote the upcoming Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, scheduled from 25 to 29 September at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Organised in collaboration with India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), the roadshow follows a curtain-raiser held earlier in Lucknow by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This is part of a national awareness campaign for the trade show’s third edition, themed “Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here.” Key dignitaries, including MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan, Principal Secretary Alok Kumar, and representatives from FIEO, EPCH, and multiple embassies, attended the event. Countries like Austria, Canada, Vietnam, Norway, and Singapore were represented alongside buyers, sourcing consultants, and industry leaders. Shri Rakesh Sachan said, “This show is not just about exhibiting products, it is about showcasing the strength of Uttar Pradesh’s industries, artisans, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs on a global stage.” The roadshow highlighted UP’s export-ready sectors such as handloom, ODOP, food processing, electronics, renewable energy, and EVs, while also unveiling new features like B2B meetings, export promotion zones, and ODOP showcases. The UPITS 2025 is expected to surpass the success of previous editions, which generated massive business inquiries and drew lakhs of visitors. Upcoming roadshows in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad aim to further boost participation.
