TS LAWCET 2025 counselling has started for students who want to join law courses in Telangana. This process is for those who passed the TS LAWCET exam held on June 6, 2025. Through this counselling, students can apply for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in government and private law colleges across the state. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is handling the process, which includes registration, document upload, choosing colleges, and seat allotment. Students must follow all dates and steps carefully to make sure they don’t miss their chance. Several stages of counselling will take place from August 4 to September 2, 2025.

Who can apply for TS LAWCET counselling?

Only candidates who qualified in the TS LAWCET 2025 entrance exam, held on June 6, are eligible to participate. They must possess:

  • A valid TS LAWCET 2025 rank card.
  • Required academic qualifications (Intermediate for 5-year LLB; a bachelor’s degree for 3-year LLB).
  • Local or non-local status as defined by Telangana government norms.

Required documents

Candidates participating in the counselling process must submit the following list of documents for verification and admissions:

  1. TS LAWCET 2025 rank card and admit card
  2. Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates
  3. Degree certificate (for 3-year LLB applicants)
  4. Transfer and migration certificates
  5. Study certificates from Class 5 onward
  6. Income and caste certificates (if applicable)
  7. Domicile/residence certificate (10 years)
  8. Special category certificates (NCC/PH/CAP/Sports if applicable)
  9. Employer certificate for non-local quota (if needed)

Seat allotment and reporting

Allotment is based on rank, category, and preferences. Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted college between August 29 and September 2 for:

  • Original document verification
  • Final admission fee payment
  • Confirmation of admission
