Train derailment near Delhi's Shivaji Bridge: No casualties as one coach goes off track; restoration work underway

NEW DELHI: One coach of an EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) train derailed near Shivaji Bridge in the capital on Thursday afternoon, officials said. The incident occurred around 4.10 pm while the train was en route from Ghaziabad to Nizamuddin Railway Station. No casualties or injuries have been reported. Railway officials confirmed that restoration work is currently underway at the site to resume normal operations. Workers could be seen on site carrying out the restoration work after the passenger train derailed .
