Maisy was 14 years old and had been his constant companion during amateur, county, and national play. Tommy told BBC Scotland that she “has supported me through all my tournaments.” He smiled and added, “Scotland are nice about it. They let the dogs walk the course.”Just weeks earlier, Maisy had been diagnosed with cancer. Tommy said, “This might be her last time,” showing how much that moment meant to both of them.
