Stock market today: Here are the top 10 gainers and losers on NSE, BSE – Check list
Stock market today: Dalal street was mostly red on Wednesday, as benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were dragged down by increasing geopolitical tensions, weak global markets and continuous foreign fund outflows. The Nifty50 slipped below the 25,000 mark to trade at 24,919.80, while the BSE Sensex plunged more than 1,000 points to hit 81,124 in early trade. However, both indices pared some losses as the session progressed. By 12:35 PM, the Nifty50 was trading at 25,199.15, down 33 points or 0.13%, while the BSE Sensex stood at 82,047, lower 132 points or 0.16%. Meanwhile in global trade, Asian equities were mostly down. South Korea’s Kospi, Japan’s Nikkei 225 and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were trading in the red, while Shanghai’s SSE Composite edged marginally higher. Overnight, US markets closed sharply lower.
