Smoke scare on Saudia Haj flight, hydraulic leak triggers emergency at Lucknow airport; watch video | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: Smoke was detected from the left-side wheels of a Saudia aircraft after it landed at Lucknow airport from Jeddah on Sunday. The flight is scheduled to return to Jeddah later in the evening today.
The Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team responded promptly and worked with the Saudia crew to control the situation, successfully containing the smoke and preventing any damage to the aircraft. All passengers on board — mostly Haj pilgrims — were safely deboarded, and airport operations continued without disruption. According to a source, the smoke was caused by a minor hydraulic oil leakage in the landing gear.
