SBI, UTI MFs halt fresh flows into silver fund of funds

MUMBAI: After Kotak Mutual Fund, SBI MF and UTI MF have temporarily suspended investments in silver ETF fund of funds. The suspensions are effective Oct 13. The moves were taken to protect interest of investors after, due to shortage of physical white silver in India, their local prices were at a premium to international prices.
