According to the latest update, the infamous comedian was summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) in connection with the very case. Samay appeared before the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Vijaya Rahatkar, and he submitted a written apology.

Further, she told Samay Raina to adhere to the standards in the future and create creative content to raise awareness on the dignity and rights of women. The comedian respectfully assured the commission that going forward, he will be maintaining decorum and will pay utmost attention to the details in regard to the dignity and respect of women. The National Commission for Women holds that all social workers to promote enhanced respect and awareness towards women in society. This situation is part of the Commission’s continuous initiative to ensure that media and digital platforms better address women’s needs and uphold their dignity.
