S-400 system, Dhanush guns: Centre clears Rs 2.8 lakh crore deal in major defence boost
India’s Defence Acquisition Council has greenlit defense deals worth approximately Rs 2.38 lakh crore to bolster military capabilities. Key acquisitions include advanced air defense systems for the Army, medium transport aircraft and the S-400 missile system for the Air Force, and heavy-duty air cushion vehicles for the Coast Guard, significantly enhancing national security.
