OTET result 2026: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has declared the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 result today, February 12, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the written examination held on December 17, 2026, can now check their results on the official website bseodisha.nic.in.To view the result, candidates need to log in using their roll number and registered mobile number.
OTET 2026 result download details
Candidates who have qualified in the examination will be able to download their OTET qualifying certificates from the official portal after paying the prescribed fee. This facility will be available from 4 pm on February 12, 2026, and will remain open until hard copies of the certificates are issued by the board.Candidates who did not qualify in the exam can download their Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) answer sheets from the official website. The OMR download facility will remain open till February 18, 2026.

About the OTET exam
The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), also known as the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET), is a state-level examination conducted for awarding Teacher Eligibility Test certificates to eligible candidates. This certificate is mandatory for candidates who wish to apply for secondary school teacher recruitment in Odisha.In the 2025 session, a total of 75,403 candidates registered for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Out of these, 72,413 candidates qualified. Around 48,153 candidates cleared both papers, taking the overall pass percentage to 66.50 per cent.Paper 1:
- Registered: 29,004 candidates
- Appeared: 27,533 candidates
- Qualified: 12,988 candidates
- Pass percentage: 47.17 per cent
Paper 2:
- Registered: 46,399 candidates
- Appeared: 44,880 candidates
- Qualified: 35,165 candidates
- Pass percentage: 78.35 per cent
