NTA postpones NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 application correction window: Check revised dates and official notice here

NIFTEE application form 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 on February 8, 2026 (Sunday) for admissions to the Academic Session 2026–27. The entrance examination will be held at multiple centres across India in both Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT) modes.As per official information, the Stage 1 test will be organised in designated cities nationwide. Candidates will appear for the exam either in CBT or PBT mode, depending on the options selected during registration and the availability at examination centres.In line with details mentioned in the Information Bulletin and Public Notice, NTA has also announced a one-time opportunity for application form corrections. Candidates who have already submitted their NIFTEE-2026 application forms will be allowed to edit specific details.The correction window will remain open from January 21 to January 22, 2026, up to 11:50 pm. Previously, it was to open on January 20, 2026. Only the fields specified by NTA, as outlined in the official annexure, will be available for correction. No further chances will be provided once the window closes.

NIFTEE 2026 application form: Steps to make correction

Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to make corrections:

  • Visit the official NTA website for NIFTEE.
  • On the homepage, click on the NIFTEE 2026 Application Correction link available on the homepage.
  • Log in using your application number and password.
  • Your submitted application form will open on the screen.
  • Edit the permitted fields only, as mentioned in the official notification.
  • Carefully review the corrected details before submission.
  • Click on Submit to save the changes.
  • Download and keep a copy of the corrected application form for future referenc

Candidates are advised to very carefully go through their forms, and if there is any mistake, they should make corrections within the time limit.
