NEW DELHI: A man in Mumbai’s Deonar area allegedly tried to kill his landlord by ramming a car into him following an argument over rent, police said. The incident took place on July 21 when the landlord had gone to collect rent. According to police, a heated altercation broke out between the two, during which the tenant allegedly attempted to run over the landlord with his vehicle, seriously injuring him. The injured man filed a police complaint two days later, on July 23. The tenant has since been arrested. The landlord is receiving treatment for his injuries, while an investigation into the case is underway, according to Mumbai Police.
