Moscow airport horror: Man picks up toddler fleeing Iran violence, flips and throws him to the ground; child in coma

A shocking incident took place at an international airport in Moscow when a man suddenly grabbed an 18-month-old boy from Iran and violently threw him to the ground. The boy and his pregnant mother had just arrived in Russia after fleeing the conflict in Iran. The toddler suffered severe skull fractures and spinal injuries and is now fighting for his life in a coma. The disturbing clip was shared by Iran in India X account.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Vladimir Vitkov from Belarus, was promptly detained by authorities following the attack. Following the assault, preliminary investigations revealed that Vitkov had cannabis in his bloodstream, and reports indicate that additional drugs were also found in test. The attack happened as the boy’s pregnant mother was collecting his pushchair after their flight’s arrival. Police are examining if there was a racist or other motivation for the act against the child. Police believe drug intoxication played a significant role in the violent incident. The injured boy was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
