‘MI, RCB fans go out!’: CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad tells academy players in hilarious interview – Watch | Cricket News

Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad had a fun interaction with youngsters at the Super Kings Academy, where he entertained the kids with his humour and playful responses. The 28-year-old was in a light mood as he answered a string of innocent questions from the children, often turning their answers into jokes. The most memorable moment came when Gaikwad asked the kids which IPL teams they supported. When a few replied with names like RCB and MI, the skipper instantly responded with a firm, “Out, out.” He then counted the number of non-CSK supporters, before joking, “Everyone will remember your name, and no one will pick you for CSK.” The remark drew laughter from the group, after which one of the kids quickly added, “I like CSK too.” Gaikwad ended the discussion by confirming, “So first is CSK.” The banter didn’t stop there. When asked if he was playing for CSK, Gaikwad quipped, “No, I am playing for TSK.” On captaining a team with senior players, he added with a grin, “Very good, I enjoyed a lot. I scolded all seniors.” He also shared how he would handle teammates struggling on the field. He jokingly gestured that he’d give them a slap, after which he said, “Not in the dressing room, but in front of everyone.” He then answered the same question on a serious note, and said, “I will give him confidence, I will back him.” When asked about the toughest bowler he had faced, Gaikwad named, “Trent Boult.” On Shoaib Akhtar, he responded, “I was not born yet.”
