NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close down the extended registration window for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling at 1 PM today, August 3. The extension was granted for all candidates following a surge of requests from Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), who had faced delays in obtaining mandatory disability certificates from designated centres.As per the revised timeline, fee payment must be completed by 4 PM today, while choice filling will remain open until 11:59 PM on August 4. The choice locking facility will be accessible from 4 PM to 11:59 PM tomorrow.The MCC will process Round 1 seat allotment on August 5, and results will be published on August 6. Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective institutions between August 7 and August 11. Failure to report will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.This year’s NEET UG counselling process will comprise three main rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round to fill leftover seats. With the extension of Round 1 deadlines, there is a possibility that subsequent rounds may also face timeline adjustments.
