Marcus Morris’ lawyers requested a bond during a hearing on the case on Tuesday so that he could gain a better understanding of the situation. For context, he was charged with fraud and an insufficient funds check after being arrested at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. In a statement posted on X, Yony Noy, the agent for the Morris brothers, said that everything was the result of “an outstanding marker with a casino.” They further said: “Apparently if you have over $1,200 they can issue a warrant for your arrest. Absolute insanity!”Additionally, the booking report, which was acquired by TMZ, stated that Marcus Morris was arrested for a felony. Moreover, the county’s Clerk of Courts website stated that he was detained without bond at the Broward County main jail and that an extradition hearing was set for Monday.
