Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 extended: CAP round 1 seat allotment for MBBS, BDS on August 11
The Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the registration deadline for NEET UG counselling 2025. This gives more time to students applying for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and other health science courses. Students can now register for counselling till August 4, 2025.The last date to upload documents and pay the registration fee is August 5. The provisional merit list and seat matrix will be released on August 6, followed by preference filling from August 6 to 9. The seat allotment result for MBBS and BDS (CAP Round 1) will be declared on August 11.If you get a seat, you must visit the allotted college between August 12 and 17, carry original documents, pay the fees, and confirm your admission.

What happens after registration?
Once registered and documents are verified:
- Students will be listed in the merit list (out on August 6).
- You can fill your college and course preferences online from August 6 to 9.
- Based on your NEET rank, category, and preferences, you may be allotted a seat on August 11.
- If you get a seat, you must report physically to the college between August 12 and 17, with original documents and the retention form.
What about BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and other courses?
The CET Cell will announce the CAP Round 1 schedule for AYUSH and allied courses separately. These include:
- BAMS (Ayurveda)
- BHMS (Homeopathy)
- BUMS (Unani)
- BPTh, BOTh, BASLP
