Now, the Dallas Stars’ coach, Pete DeBoer, has dragged Connor McDavid into the controversy and fans are not liking it.

The Dallas Stars’ coach, Pete DeBoer, spoke to the media about Darnell Nurse receiving a two minute minor penalty and dragged Connor McDavid into it.Pete DeBoer said, “I’ll answer your question with a question…Does anyone in this room think if Connor McDavid gets carried off the ice like that, it’s not a five-minute major?”However, this has not gone down well with fans. A fan commented, “I get that DeBoer is sticking up for his guy as a good coach should. But really? Hintz to Mcdavid. These players aren’t close in value to their teams or, more importantly, for the product of the NHL.”Another fan wrote, “Hintz is a good player, but not to be compared with McDavid!
