KANPUR: A violent altercation over a parking dispute led to a shocking incident where a resident bit off the nose of the apartment society’s secretary. The incident occurred at Ratan Planet Apartment in Naramau, where Rupendra Singh Yadav, a retired engineer, serves as the society’s secretary. An FIR was lodged against the accused.According to Priyanka, Rupendra’s daughter, the incident unfolded on Sunday evening when Kshitij Mishra, a fellow resident, contacted her father regarding a car parked in his designated spot. Despite Rupendra’s suggestion to send a guard to resolve the issue, Kshitij demanded his presence downstairs. The situation escalated when Kshitij allegedly assaulted Rupendra by slapping him and subsequently biting off his nose. Following the incident, Rupendra’s son Prashant filed a complaint at Bithoor police station against Mishra.Kalyanpur ACP Abhishek Pandey confirmed that the victim underwent a medical examination. A CCTV footage of the entire incident has emerged, showing Kshitij Mishra purportedly slapping the secretary and then biting his nose after grabbing his neck. As soon as the nose was bitten, the secretary was seen screaming in pain and running back home. Rupendra Yadav was rushed to a hospital where doctors referred him to a higher medical facility. “A case has been filed against the accused. Currently, he is also hospitalised, and legal action will be taken once his condition stabilises,” said the ACP.
