Bills confirm possible foot procedure as offensive questions mount
The update came from GM Brandon Beane. He broke the news during the Bills’ end-of-season press meet in Orchard Park. Plus, Beane confirmed that Allen’s lingering right foot injury could need medical assistance.“He could have to have something done to his foot, potentially here soon,” Beane said during the press conference. “But it would not impact OTA stuff if he does.”Allen originally injured the foot during the Buffs’ Week 16 win over the Browns on Dec. 22, 2025. The issue worsened in Week 17 and followed him into the postseason. By the time the Bills played the Denver Broncos in the wild-card face-off, the star QB was also dealing with pain in his left knee and right finger. The impact showed. Allen accounted for four turnovers in that loss. He still threw for 283 yards and 3 TDs, but his movement looked stiff, and the mistakes came up at the worst time.That health concern now overlaps with a bigger offensive problem. Buffs finished the 2025 regular season without a single 1,000-yard receiver. Allen threw for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns, but the production came in pieces. No wideout consistently took pressure off him. WR Keon Coleman remains a major question mark after owner Terry Pegula’s comments during a 53-minute press conference on Jan 22, 2026. Veteran WR Brandin Cooks addressed the situation the following day.“I think this guy can play at a high level,” Cooks said during a locker room media session at One Bills Drive. “He’s misunderstood.
