Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistani infiltrators forced to retreat

JAMMU: Pakistani intruders trying to cross the LoC in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri district were forced to retreat on Sunday after Army soldiers opened fire, triggering a brief exchange.“After noticing suspicious movement along the LoC, alert troops fired at suspected intruders who were trying to breach the fence,” an official said.Security forces also observed suspicious movement along the LoC in Poonch district, prompting a thorough combing operation in the area.On Saturday night, two infiltrators were killed in Poonch. “Terrorist movement was detected last night in the Poonch sector. Alert troops swiftly engaged the infiltrating terrorists, triggering an intense and heavy firefight. The operation continued through the night, leading to the neutralisation of two terrorists,” White Knight Corps posted on X.
