What began as a conversation quickly turned violent when Ramesh allegedly attacked the 45-year-old Mohanlal, causing the front part of his nose to be completely severed.According to police reports, the attack was motivated by Ramesh’s anger over his wife’s recent illegal marriage to another man, Raj Kumar Vishnoi, 27, from Badha village. The second marriage had taken place on July 18, despite the woman’s existing marriage to Ramesh, police said.Assistant Sub-Inspector Rawataram of Dhorimanna police station revealed that the couple had been married as minors but only began living together when both reached adulthood. However, due to marital discord, the woman returned to her parents’ home two years ago.Following the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene upon hearing Mohanlal’s screams. The victim was rushed to a Dhorimanna hospital by family members and villagers, where he is currently receiving treatment. The police have registered an FIR based on Mohanlal’s statement and have formed teams to apprehend the accused and his accomplices.
