The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Chandigarh has officially commenced the Phase 1 choice-filling process for BTech admissions 2025. Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses offered by five participating institutes—including UIET Panjab University and Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology—must complete their choices online at the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in. The deadline to fill and lock choices is 5 PM on July 7, 2025. Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2025 are eligible to participate in this counselling round. The process also includes a mock allotment, seat locking, and subsequent allotment rounds. It is crucial for students to fill in their preferences wisely, based on last year’s cut-offs and personal priorities, to maximise their admission chances.
How to fill JAC Chandigarh BTech 2025 choices

- Navigate to the choice filling section
- Select and arrange preferred institutes and engineering branches
- Save and lock choices before 5 PM on July 7
