LUCKNOW: A dramatic incident unfolded at a CNG fuel station in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district on Sunday evening when a woman pointed a licensed revolver at a gas station employee following an altercation over safety protocol. The entire episode was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and police action.According to police, the incident took place at the Bilgram CNG station where Rajnish Kumar, a staffer, asked a customer and his family to exit their car before refueling, as per safety norms. The request led to a heated argument with Ehsan Khan, a resident of Mohalla Gigiyani, Shahabad. When Kumar attempted to push Khan back during the confrontation, Khan’s daughter, identified as Ariba Khan alias Surush, intervened physically. In the footage, Ariba is seen returning to the car, retrieving a .32 bore licensed revolver, and pointing it at Rajnish Kumar while threatening, “Itni goliyaan maarungi ki ghar wale pehchaan nahi payenge” (I’ll shoot so many bullets your family won’t be able to recognise you).Despite the threat, Kumar stood his ground and continued arguing. Ariba’s mother, Husnabano, pulled her away before the family left the scene.Kumar later filed a formal complaint at Bilgram police station, following which a case was registered under sections 115(2), 352, and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and section 30 of the Arms Act.The police have served legal notices to the three accused — Ehsan Khan, his wife Husnabano, and daughter Ariba — and seized the licensed revolver along with 25 live cartridges. Further legal action is underway.Police have confirmed that the revolver was legally owned by Ehsan Khan and all appropriate legal proceedings are being carried out.
