Ishita Dutta, who recently welcomed her second child, a baby girl, has been unwell. Her two-year-old son Vaayu has also been facing health issues. Due to their condition, both mother and son were admitted to the hospital. However, Ishita has now shared a health update, reassuring everyone that they are recovering well and feeling much better.Ishita shared a photo from the hospital while updating her fans about her health condition. The actress also shared that she had to stay away from her newborn daughter while making frequent visits to the hospital.Ishita took to Instagram to post a photo of her hand and her two-year-old son Vaayu’s hand, both bandaged and fitted with syringes. Along with the image, she wrote, “It’s been a really tough month… At a time when I was supposed to be with my newborn, I was making hospital rounds instead. Thankfully, both Vaayu and I are doing much better now. A lot of you have been asking me about my weight loss – it wasn’t deliberate, just a result of being unwell.“

Earlier, Ishita had shared a post on July 4 about her weight loss journey. In her post, the Drishyama actress revealed how just 22 days after giving birth to her second child, Ishita witnessed a ‘massive’ weight loss and she also opened up about exactly how she did it.“For all asking me what I did… Here’s a quick breakdown,” Ishita shared, before revealing her postpartum diet routine. “I’ve been on a very healthy diet—no sugar, lots of veggies, nuts, seeds, and fruits. I’ve also been having soups and absolutely no junk food.” Emphasizing balance and simplicity, she added that her meals are mostly homemade and cooked with less oil. “All ghar ka less oil khana and smaller, frequent meals,” she wrote.Ishita also credits breastfeeding as a key contributor to her fast weight loss. “Breastfeeding makes you lose a lot of calories,” she explained, highlighting how natural processes combined with clean eating can make a significant difference post-delivery.
