‘I want to leave him but I can’t’: South Park mocks Donald Trump again; shows Satan pregnant with his child

Donald Trump was mocked in the latest episode of South Park, which aired on Wednesday. The 27th season of the animated show has frequently criticised the US president. Throughout the episode, reporters questioned the nature of Trump’s relationship with first lady Melania Trump, who was shown staying in New York City away from the White House. The show then turned to Satan, a longtime character, who revealed he was romantically involved with Trump. “Yes, we’re together. We’ve been together for months,” Satan said. “And I want to leave him, but I can’t. Because I’m pregnant.” The scene then cut to Jesus holding a positive pregnancy test, looking confused, and showed a panel of Fox News hosts with similar reactions. Satan added, “So now you all know. I am forced to stay in this situation for several more years,” before taking Trump’s hand and leaving the scene. A Fox News host questioned whether it was possible for Satan to be pregnant, and a scientist was brought in for clarification. The episode also included jokes on tariffs and the Labubu craze. Earlier episodes in the season have shown Trump courting Satan and depicted vice president JD Vance as a tiny servant and homeland security secretary Kristi Noem as a dog killer. The White House has responded angrily to the show. Spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Variety,“Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic content… This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years. President Trump has delivered on more promises in six months than any other president, and no fourth-rate show can derail his hot streak.” However, ratings tell a different story. Comedy Central reported that the second episode of the season drew 6.2 million viewers across cable and streaming in its first three days, making it the highest-rated episode since 2018 and the biggest share in the series’ history.
