NEW DELHI: A chilling CCTV footage has emerged capturing the brutal murder of Asif Qureshi, cousin of Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi, late Thursday night in Jangpura’s Bhogal Bazar Lane, under the Nizamuddin Police Station limits in Delhi.In the footage, Asif can be seen in a heated altercation with the attackers as several bystanders try to defuse the situation. Moments later, the video shows the attackers pinning him to the ground and striking him repeatedly with what appears to be a sharp object.Police said the incident occurred around 11pm, when Asif asked the accused to move a scooter parked in front of his gate. A verbal argument ensued, followed by a physical attack. Asif was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

They alleged that on the night of the incident, the attackers assaulted him with a sharp object over the minor dispute.Speaking to reporters, Saleem Qureshi, Huma Qureshi’s father, said: “Two men parked a scooter in front of the house. Asif asked them to move it aside and not block the entrance. This led to a verbal altercation that turned physical. They were two, together they killed my nephew.”Police have arrested two brothers — Gautam and Ujjwal — in connection with the murder. Officials said Ujjwal initiated the attack.
Neighbours and family members have expressed shock and outrage over the killing, demanding justice for Asif’s family. Police have registered a case of murder and the investigation is ongoing.
