The free Google AI Pro subscription includes unlimited access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most capable AI model, offering comprehensive homework help, exam preparation, and writing assistance. Students can upload images or files for step-by-step problem-solving guidance, create study guides from course notes, generate practice tests, and even convert materials into podcast format for on-the-go learning.Additional premium features include Veo 3 Fast for video generation from text and images, Deep Research for detailed academic reports, Audio Overviews for podcast creation, and Gemini Live for real-time brainstorming and presentation practice. The plan also integrates AI assistance directly into Google Apps like Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

How to claim the free Google AI Pro plan offer for students

Eligible students must visit Google One and verify their student status through SheerID verification. The process requires adding a payment method and completing the trial purchase flow, though no charges will apply during the free 12-month period. Students must use their personal Gmail accounts rather than university-issued Google Workspace accounts for registration.The offer includes 2TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, plus enhanced NotebookLM features with 5x higher limits for notebooks and sources.
