BHOPAL: A man allegedly strangled his live-in partner and her 3-year-old daughter to death in Ganjbasoda in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh late Monday night. The incident took place in a rented house near Mansa Purna Hanuman Mandir Gali. The accused, Anuj Vishwakarma, is absconding. Police found a disturbing message written on the wall that may offer clues to the motive.Anuj, a driver, had been living with Ramsakhi Kushwaha and her two daughters, Manvi (3) and Tanu (7), for the last two months.According to police, a quarrel took place between the couple on Monday night. The next morning, their landlord discovered the bodies and informed police.When officers arrived, they found Ramsakhi and Manvi dead inside the room, while Tanu, the elder daughter, was present and was being questioned. Police suspect the victims were strangled. A chilling message written on the wall with red lipstick read: “Wo kisi or k sath bhagna chahti thi” (She wanted to elope with someone else).Police said Anuj and Ramsakhi had rented the house posing as husband and wife. The landlord said Anuj claimed to be from Mahu village and worked as a bus driver. He said he had three daughters, two of whom were with him.Ramsakhi’s father told police she had left her second husband due to domestic abuse. Motive will be clear only after Anuj is caught, they said. A case has been registered, and police are searching for the suspect.
