‘Four attempts made to kill him’: Opposition ‘plotting’ conspiracies to assassinate Tejashwi Yadav, says ex-Bihar CM Rabri Devi | Patna News

PATNA: Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi on Friday said the life of her son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav is in danger, stating there have been four attempts in the past to “assassinate” him. Tejashwi is considered as the opposition INDIA bloc’s “CM face” in Bihar although a formal announcement has not been made so far.“Tejashwi Yadav ko toh char baar marne ke koshish hua tha rasta mein…Yahan bhi marne ke koshi ho raha hai (There have been four attempts in the past to kill him on the way. And conspiracies are again being hatched to kill him here too),” Rabri told the media in the portico of the Bihar Legislative Council on Friday. She had reached the House to attend the monsoon session and today was the last day of the five-day session. She straightway blamed the “BJP-JD(U) people” behind such conspiracies alleging they lack “manners”.Rabri levelled such allegations against her rival a day after the Bihar Legislative Assembly witnessed an unsavory incident during which the opposition and ruling party members ran menacingly towards each other and almost came to blows but luckily this could be averted due to timely intervention by the security forces. Some RJD members have alleged during this situation, a BJP member uprooted the mike from the table and ran menacingly towards Tejashwi with the intention to assault him, a charge denied by the NDA leaders.
