NBA icon Dwyane Wade recently opened up about LeBron James’ decision to pass Chicago Bulls’ offer. In the summer of 2010, the Chicago Bulls were among those attempting to sign LeBron James. As reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA giant wasn’t yet convinced about the team’s bid. Now, Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller, Dwyane Wade’s previous teammates, hosted The OGs Show and revealed that the player was about to sign a solo deal with the Chicago Bulls.

Adrian Wojnarowski, a respected NBA insider, claimed that the team thought they had a compelling presentation to convince the NBA great.According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the team was aware that having D-Rose personally recruit LeBron James would be very beneficial. Additionally, he further pointed out that Derrick Rose had not expressed any interest in joining the icon. Hence, LeBron James was allegedly not interested in the Chicago Bulls’ offer. The insider further said: “For everything the Bulls tried to sell – from owner Jerry Reinsdorf to GM Gar Forman to coach Tom Thibodeau – there had been one thing that troubled James about the Bulls pitch: Derrick Rose(notes) never called and tried to recruit him.”

On the other hand, during a recent appearance on The OGs Show, talking about it, Dwyane Wade said:“But man I was like, ‘I’m going back home. I’m going to Chicago.’ I played seven years here – I won a championship – it’s time to go to the next, and for me, that was my mentality going into free agency outside of Miami.”He continued to explain that the Miami Heat were still an option:“Now, of course, Miami was still in there for me, but I got that call, man. I got that call from number six.”The NBA icon then said: “It [LeBron James] was my favorite person besides Kobe to compete against. I’m not thinking about playing with him. I love our matchups.”

He continued:“Then I got a call, and the call was – Bron [LeBron] was on the call, I was on the call, and the agents were on the call, and they were explaining to us on the call that the Miami Heat quietly had done enough so that they could get three star players.”Meanwhile, LeBron James hasn’t said anything about Dwyane Wade’s comments as of yet.
