The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has released the Round 1 allotment result for polytechnic diploma admissions for the academic year 2025–26. Students who applied through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now check their seat allotment on the official website, poly25.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Those who got a seat in this round have to confirm it between July 13 and 15 by paying the seat acceptance fee and visiting the allotted college with their documents. If you didn’t get a seat or want a better option, you can wait for Round 2, which will begin after July 16.

- Log in using your Application ID and password
- Download the allotment letter for future use

What to do if you got a seat?
Students who are allotted seats in round 1 can move ahead with the following steps in the admission process:
- Accept the seat online between July 13 and July 15, 2025
- Pay the seat acceptance fee: ₹1,000 (General) or ₹500 (for reserved categories)
- Report to the allotted institute with your documents and pay the college fees
- Choose “Freeze” if you’re happy with the seat
- Choose “Float” if you want to try for a better college in the next round
What’s next?
If you didn’t get a seat in Round 1 or are hoping for a better option, you can participate in round 2. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will release the list of vacant seats on July 16, allowing candidates to see which colleges and courses still have openings. Students can then submit fresh preferences by filling out the option form between July 17 and 19. The Round 2 allotment result will be declared on July 21. If you are allotted a seat in this round, you will need to confirm it and report to the allotted institute between July 22 and 24.
