NEW DELHI: Former RJD candidate Madan Shah broke down outside the residence of RJD chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday. Speaking to the media, Shah alleged that he was promised a ticket for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.However, he claimed that RJD leader Sanjay Yadav demanded Rs 2.7 crore from him. When he refused to pay, Shah said, the party ticket was handed over to another candidate.“Lalu Prasad Yadav promised to give me a ticket for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. RJD leader Sanjay Yadav had demanded Rs 2.7 crore, and when I refused to pay, the party ticket was given to someone else, ” said Madan Shah.Polling for the Bihar elections will take place on November 6 and 11, with results scheduled for November 14. With the election season underway, campaign activities have intensified, especially in constituencies going to the polls in the first phase.(With agencies inputs)
