In a now viral post on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) startup founder with an X username @Spor posted, “deleting my Instagram today not just the app, the whole account it’s time to be a man.” The post soon went viral with 33.9 million views and it also grabbed the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The post also managed to draw a response from X owner Elon Musk.

The decision of the startup CEO to delete his Instagram account rather than simply uninstalling the app, resonated with Musk’s long-standing criticism of Meta platforms. Replying to his post on X Musk wrote, “This is the way.”
Earlier also Elon Musk accused the Meta-owned platform for promoting superficial engagement and compromising user privacy. Musk also encouraged the users to stop using the social media platform. In a recent interview appearance, Srinivas urged people to “spend less time doomscrolling on Instagram; spend more time using the AIs.”The Perplexity CEO warned that those who fail to adapt to AI technology will be left behind in the job market. “People who really are at the frontier of using AIs [systems] are going to be way more employable than people who are not,” Srinivas said. “That’s guaranteed to happen.”
