Candidates who participated in the counselling process based on their GATE scores can now check their allotment status by logging in with their credentials. CCMT is a common platform for admission into postgraduate programs offered by NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded institutes across India. The seat allotment process is based on GATE scores, preferences submitted by candidates, and seat availability. CCMT portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. - Click on “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result”.
- Enter your GATE registration ID, password, and security pin.
- Download and save your provisional allotment letter

Candidates who are allotted seats in the CCMT counselling round 1 have to follow the steps provided below to confirm or decline their admission:
- Pay the Rs. 30,000 seat acceptance fee online (via UPI, net banking, or cards).
- Download the allotment letter post fee payment.
- Choose your willingness option:
- Freeze – accept the seat, withdraw from further rounds.
- Float – accept the seat and stay eligible for upgrades.
- Slide – accept the option to upgrade within the same institute.
Candidates who are not allotted seats in round 1 will be eligible to participate in round 2. The CCMT counselling round 2 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on June 21, 2025, with related procedures following immediately.
