Alright students, listen up! The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Annual Secondary (Theory) Examination 2026 is coming up from 17 February to 25 February, and the first golden rule is all about timing. For the first shift starting at 9:30 AM, you should reach the examination centre by 8:30 AM, and the main gate closes at 9:00 AM. For the second shift starting at 2:00 PM, entry begins at 1:00 PM, and the gates close at 1:30 PM. Late arrivals won’t be allowed in, and the responsibility lies entirely with the candidate.Think of it this way: reaching early gives you a moment to breathe, organise your stationery, and settle your mind. Trying to rush in at the last minute? That only adds stress and chaos.Follow the Rules, Stay CalmBSEB has also clearly stated that all students, parents, and the centers need to adhere to these time constraints. This is not intended to scare you; rather, it’s intended to ensure that the entire examination process goes smoothly for all. Don’t flock around the gates; rather, plan your travel in advance. If possible, also visit the centers in advance to get a better idea of where you need to go. This will ensure a calm start to the entire paper.

BSEB Board Exams 2026: Timing and important guidelines for students

Mindset Matters More Than Last-Minute PanicThe board has also stated that all students need to ensure that they prepare well for the exams rather than panicking at the last minute. So, ensure that you get a good night’s sleep before the exam, have a light breakfast, and carry only the bare essentials with you, such as your admit card.Don’t panic, don’t discuss answers with friends outside, and don’t compare yourself with others. Exams reward discipline, preparation, and a calm mind far more than frantic last-minute study.Think of BSEB exams as a chance to show your hard work, not as a life-or-death situation. Follow the timing rules, reach early, stay organised, and take a deep breath. You’ve put in the effort, now let it shine.
