Bihar ANM Result 2026 released: Check direct link, cut-off marks and document verification schedule
The State Health Society, Bihar has announced the official release of the Bihar ANM Result 2026. The Bihar ANM Result has been officially announced for the applicants who appeared in the ANM recruitment exam conducted in December 2025. The applicants can find their results in PDF on the official portal of the concerned authority on the official website, shs.bihar.gov.in. The PDF will carry the roll numbers of the applicants shortlisted for the next round of the selection process, i.e., Document Verification.This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 5,006 Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) posts in Bihar. Candidates who find their roll number in the list should carefully read the instructions related to document verification and prepare the required documents in advance. Bihar ANM Result 2026: How to check
The Bihar ANM result is available online in PDF format. Candidates do not need to enter any login details. To check the result, candidates should visit shs.bihar.gov.in and open the recruitment or result section. Click on the link related to the ANM result 2026. A PDF file will open on the screen. Number of candidates shortlisted
According to an official notification that has already come out, it has been stated that a total of 7,780 shortlisted candidates have been shortlisted under the Document Verification process. It must be noted that being shortlisted does not imply that the recruitment process is completed. The shortlisted individuals would have to go through the process of document verification as well to proceed further in their recruitment process.
Bihar ANM cut-off marks 2026
The cut-off marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for document verification. SHSB has released the category-wise cut-off marks, which are given in the table below. Candidates should compare their marks with the cut-off of their category.
Candidates who scored equal to or more than the cut-off marks of their category have been shortlisted for the next stage.
Bihar ANM document verification schedule
The Document Verification process will be conducted from 27 January to 3 February 2026. Candidates must appear for verification on the date mentioned against their roll number in the result PDF. The verification will take place at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW), Sheikhpura, Patna. Candidates are advised to reach the venue on time and follow all instructions given by the authorities.
Documents required for verification
During document verification, candidates must bring all original documents for checking. These include educational qualification certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), residence certificate, and other relevant documents mentioned in the notification. Candidates should also carry photocopies of the documents. If any document is missing or found incorrect, the candidate may be disqualified from the recruitment process.
