In Tavaragera town, Koppal district, a 35-year-old man, Channappa Hussainappa Narinal, was brutally murdered in broad daylight. He was attacked with a machete by a group of individuals, leading to the registration of a case against ten suspects.

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old man was brutally hacked to death in broad daylight in Tavaragera town of Kushtagi taluk, Koppal district, on Sunday, police said.The victim, identified as Channappa Hussainappa Narinal, was allegedly attacked with a machete by a group of miscreants inside a bakery.CCTV footage of the incident has since gone viral.A case has been registered against 10 individuals based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family. According to police, the murder appears to be the fallout of an old enmity and a simmering property dispute. Senior officers, including Gangavathi DySP and Tavaragera CPI, visited the spot and reviewed the situation. A manhunt has been launched and traps have been laid to nab the accused.
