CBI has registered an FIR against builders and DDA officials, accusing them of criminal conspiracy and compromising on quality and structural safety during construction of Signature View Apartments in north Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar. DDA had filed a complaint citing lapses in construction quality at the complex, comprising 224 HIG flats and 112 MIG flats divided into three construction groups.CBI said use of substandard material resulted in the buildings being declared unsafe for living within a decade of construction.
