IDF International Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani shared a video on X showing a dark tunnel with living facilities, including a toilet.In his post, Shoshani claimed the structures were “Hamas offensive underground tunnel routes.”“Our troops dismantled two Hamas offensive underground tunnel routes. One had exit shafts, weapons, food and even living quarters, it was sealed permanently with concrete. The other stretched for hundreds of meters underground and was dismantled as well,” Shoshani said.He added that during the operation, dozens of terrorists were eliminated and terror infrastructure was destroyed both above and below ground.Since Hamas’s invasion of Israel on October 7, 2023, more than 60,000 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict, with thousands displaced due to the toll of war.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed to provide aid to curb the humanitarian crisis but has also said that Hamas militants continuously attempt to block this aid.Last week, the UN confirmed that famine is prevalent in Gaza City.On Tuesday, protesters in Israel took to the streets, demanding an end to the Gaza war and the return of hostages ahead of a security cabinet meeting.In Tel Aviv, demonstrators blocked roads, waved Israeli flags, and held pictures of the hostages, reports news agency AFP.Israeli media reported that others gathered near the US embassy branch in the city and outside the homes of several ministers.
