RAIPUR: The business association of Kusmunda–Imlichapar in Korba district of Chhattisgarh staged a unique protest on Sunday against the deplorable condition of the main road in the coal belt.Members of the traders’ association entered potholes filled with dirty rainwater half-naked, bathed with buckets and soap, and raised slogans against the government.During the monsoon, large potholes have filled with water, making the road look like a pond.Traders complained that business has collapsed and the movement of people is badly disrupted.“We are forced to take this symbolic step because no day passes without an accident or a jam here,” one protester said.
